Anne-Sophie Courtier appointed Dean of EM Normandie Business School

EM Normandie Business School has announced the appointment of Anne-Sophie Courtier, current Director of Programmes and member of the Executive Committee, as Dean of the School. Selected by the selection committee, she will officially assume her role on March 24th, 2025. In the meantime, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee will continue to serve as interim directors.

Comprising eight members—including representatives from the Board of Directors and professionals closely involved in the School's activities—the selection committee chose Anne-Sophie Courtier for this position.
This decision ensures the stability of the School’s governance in an challenging ecosystem and the continuation in fulfilling its mission to serve its territories.

Since joining EM Normandie Business School, Anne-Sophie Courtier has demonstrated her ability to unite all employees around ambitious, high-value-added projects in a competitive and ever-evolving environment. Through her leadership and strategic vision, she has fostered dynamic momentum, enabling our School to continue its growth while preserving its DNA. Anne-Sophie Courtier has an extensive background in higher education. She earned a Master’s degree in Private Law from the University of Caen Normandy in 1998 and a PhD in Law from the University of Rouen Normandy in 2005. She began her career at the University of Rouen Normandy, first as a teaching and research assistant, then as a law lecturer. In 2006, she joined NEOMA Business School as a teacher-researcher before taking on an academic management role. She later became Director of Full-Time MSc Programmes in 2017 and Deputy Director of the Master’s in Management Programme in 2019. Notably, she led the project to merge the Master’s in management with the Full-Time MSc programmes by coordinating both programme structures and cross-disciplinary departments.
She joined EM Normandie Business School in March 2024 as Director of Programmes and a member of the Executive Committee, where she successfully led the complete redesign of our programmes, in collaboration with the Faculty. At the age of 48, she now takes on the role of Dean of EM Normandie Business School.
