EM Normandie launches a DBA programme
Initial Education
Building on its international success, EM Normandie is opening its DBA (Doctorate in Business Administration) in France in 2025. Designed for experienced senior executives, this doctoral programme is a 3-year part-time course, combining on-site and distance learning, in French or English.
A real opportunity for you to boost your career
In today's ultra-competitive environment, the DBA programme is gaining in popularity, attracting many experienced senior managers and business leaders ready to take up this intellectual and organisational challenge to boost their careers and stand out in the job market.
Delivered in English or French, EM Normandie's DBA programme - leading to a PhD, the highest academic qualification in management - is based on the practical application of management theories and concepts to the business world.
Designed for professionals facing complex challenges, this programme, based on recent research, provides the opportunity to develop cutting-edge expertise in management and strategic leadership and to strengthen decision-making skills on key current issues, while reinforcing their network.
A top-level programme
The EM Normandie DBA is completed over 3 years, with key stages such as the production of an academic poster, enabling doctoral students to present their research problem, followed by an intermediate research project. Then comes the writing of the final thesis, followed by the oral defence, and finally, graduation, which marks the official recognition of the course and opens up new professional and academic horizons.
The flexible schedule is adapted to the professional needs of the students, who can carry out genuine research work while remaining involved in their jobs at the company.
Another major advantage of the programme is the tailored support provided by experts from a community of 131 teacher-researchers at EM Normandie, including some of the top 2% of researchers in the world, with solid expertise in a wide range of fields such as Supply Chain Management, FinTech, CSR, entrepreneurship, innovation and artificial intelligence. They are all involved in a strong research dynamic, a guarantee of high-level training. Thanks to the international reach of the school, which is triple EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA accredited, the DBA benefits from partnerships and collaborations with foreign institutions and international academic networks, enabling students to develop a global vision of business.
